In this review, we discuss basic geographic terms including scale, place, and location. Then, we go over the types of maps you may be asked to identify in multiple choice questions and free response questions including different types of projections like the Mercator and Robinson. Finally, we’ll review the types of regions including formal, functional, and vernacular.
