february 27, 2019

Resources

First, we review the prior sessions of the Synthesis essay and then discuss the purpose of source incorporation as well as structural tips to maximize your score. We then discuss the rules of punctuation with utilizing parenthetical citations and typical punctuation issues that come across with embedding quotes, maintaining word flow, and utilizing brackets and ellipses. We end the discussion with reinforcing the core idea that less is more — directly quoting as few words as possible & embedding quotes in order to maintain control of the writing.
