Sensation & Perception (2018-19) - Slides

This session is an introduction to sensation and perception and how these factors influence our experience and interpretation of the world around us. We will compare and contrast sensation and perception, top-down and bottom-up processing, and absolute thresholds to difference thresholds. Finally, we will discuss why we do perceive and process or fail to perceive information.
