After the Stock Market Crash of 1929, the United States found itself in the midst of a Great Depression. The Election of 1932 pinned Herbert Hoover versus Franklin D. Roosevelt (FDR). We will look at the 3 R’s of the New Deal (Relief, Recovery, and Reform) and we will explore the ways that the Great Depression impacted various social groups.
