Line: A mark with length and direction. It can be straight, curved, thick, thin, or broken.
Balance: The distribution of visual weight in an artwork. It can be symmetrical (equal on both sides), asymmetrical (unequal but balanced), or radial (balanced around a central point).
Color: The visual sensation produced by light reflecting off objects. It has three properties - hue (name of color), value (lightness or darkness), and intensity (brightness or dullness).
