An arithmetic series is a sequence of numbers where each term is obtained by adding a fixed number called the common difference to the previous term.
Common Difference: The fixed number that is added to obtain each term in an arithmetic series.
Partial Sum: The sum of only some terms in an arithmetic series rather than all terms.
Convergent Arithmetic Series: An infinite arithmetic series whose sum approaches infinity or negative infinity as more terms are added.
