The Formation of the League of Nations was established in 1920 as a result of the Versailles Conference, aimed at promoting international cooperation and preventing future conflicts after World War I. This organization sought to provide a platform for dialogue among nations and to resolve disputes peacefully, reflecting the desire for lasting peace following the devastation of the war. Although the League had noble intentions, it struggled to enforce its resolutions and ultimately failed to prevent the rise of aggression in the years leading up to World War II.
