Ampere's Law

from class:

AP Physics C: E&M

Definition

Ampere's Law is a fundamental principle in electromagnetism that relates the magnetic field around a closed loop to the electric current passing through the loop. It states that the line integral of the magnetic field along a closed path is equal to μ₀ times the total current passing through any surface bounded by that path.

congrats on reading the definition of Ampere's Law. now let's actually learn it.

ok, let's learn stuff
