Ampere's law with Maxwell's correction is an extension of Ampere's law that takes into account not only the current flowing through a wire but also any changing electric fields nearby. It states that the sum of the circulation of the magnetic field around a closed loop is equal to μ₀ times the total current passing through that loop plus ε₀ times the rate of change of electric flux enclosed by that loop.
