Light
AP Psychology
The eye is an organ that detects light and allows us to see. It consists of various parts working together to capture and process visual information.
Retina: This is the inner layer of the eye where light-sensitive cells are located.
Lens: It is a transparent structure behind the iris that helps focus light onto the retina.
Cornea: The cornea is the clear front part of the eye that covers and protects other structures while also helping with focusing incoming light.
