Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences

from class:

AP Psychology

Definition

Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences suggests that intelligence is not a single, fixed entity, but rather a combination of different types or "intelligences." These include linguistic, logical-mathematical, spatial, bodily-kinesthetic, musical, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and naturalistic intelligences.
