Neural firing refers to an electrochemical reaction that happens when a neuron fires an action potential or electrical impulse along its axon.
Action Potential: A brief electrical charge generated by a stimulated neuron that travels down its axon.
Resting Potential: The stable negative charge of an inactive neuron when it is not firing.
Threshold: The minimum level of stimulation required for a neuron to generate an action potential.
