Definition

Artistic expression refers to the various ways in which artists communicate their ideas, emotions, and experiences through different art forms such as painting, sculpture, architecture, and literature. During the period between AD1200 - AD1450 in the Dar al-Islam region, there was a major shift in artistic expression.
