Yaa Asantewaa War

Definition

The Yaa Asantewaa War, also known as the War of the Golden Stool, was a military conflict between the Ashanti Empire in Ghana and British colonial forces in 1900. It was led by Queen Mother Yaa Asantewaa after King Prempeh I was exiled.
