Paris Peace Conference: A conference held in 1919 in Paris after World War I where major decisions about the post-war world were made, including the negotiation of the Treaty of Versailles.
Reparations: Payments or compensations imposed on defeated nations by victorious powers as part of peace settlements. In regards to World War I, Germany was required to pay substantial reparations under the Treaty of Versailles.
