7.2 RICE method and immobilization techniques

When it comes to treating musculoskeletal injuries, the RICE method is your go-to approach. , , , and work together to reduce pain, , and promote healing in injured areas.

Immobilization techniques are crucial for protecting and supporting injured limbs. Slings, bandages, and elastic wraps help stabilize the affected area, while proper use of cold packs and other supplies can speed up recovery.
