While vilified and painted as the anti-Christ by the German and English Reformers, the Catholic Church tried to work from within the address the abuses brought into public light by the likes of Luther, Zwingili, and others. The ultimate goal: reunification of the Christian church under the Pope. Tonight we discuss the manners in which they were successful as well as unsuccessful in their attempt.
