This live session focuses on how statistical analysis can be a useful tool in the field of psychology. Students will review the basic measures of central tendency such as mean, median, and mode, as well as learn to identify when each method is most appropriately used. Furthermore, students will explore measures of variance within a data set and discuss how to read a normal curve. Finally, students will be introduced to the topic of inferential statistics and explore the usage of statistical significance as it relates to psychological studies.
