The Progressive Movement started with the bullet of an assassin and ended with the presidency of Woodrow Wilson. The Progressive movement had four main goals, and reformers aimed to fix the problems produced by the industrial revolution at the local, state, and national level. The U.S. entry into WWI was caused by untenable position of neutrality. The U.S entered the war on the side of the allies, and emerged a world leader.
